calgary seems to have a lot of bars. not that we went to any since they all appeared to be closed. it may be that they were actually open and no one was sitting outside since it was below 50 degrees. remember my comment that the canucks think its cold for this time of the year? maybe someone called ahead to warn canada that we'd be passing through so they turned on the refrigerator coils.
anyway, we're headed to jasper and some other forests today. hopefully it will have some sights that are picture worthy. so far, that hasn't been the case. and im not trying to insult canadians--i leave it to south park for that--but after leaving idaho and montana im a bit let down. we have plenty of country to see so im optimistic. hopefully it warms up a bit.
unrelated note, think i may be getting sick. not sure what to do about that... going to just power through and see if it gets better by itself. my guess would be a slight cold. joy.

No bars? I found a place online that claimed to have a mechanical bull - it brings a smile to my face to picture the two of you riding a mechanical bull.
