so mike and i officially renaming this pos the mudster dumpster. saying it rained is an understatement. someone took a river and decided to use that as the bedrock for the roadway. we are going to be swimming in a sea of mud goop. we have 36km to the arctic circle and something like 378km to inuvik. our fallback if the conditions are complete crap is to ride to the arctic circle which was our destination. we're gonna try our best to make it to inuvik, but if the conditions were like yesterday, we'll be lucky to get 30km/h...
the good news is that its not snowing.
ps- great news. the hotel in inuvik wants 24 hours cancellation if something changes. even better news, they are sold out the remainder of the week. go team.
