chicken

we're about 42 miles from the border, in chicken alaska. we're hungry, and thankfully, one of the 3 buildings in town is a cafe. and they have internet access. big time tourist trap, but ive read that its a legendary spot for people that pan for gold... apparently they still do here. we have just under 400 miles to anchorage. our bodies are worked. and were more or less ready to head home. scenery has been nice. we may push all the way through to anchorage tonight.... or stop off at glenallen or some other point halfway from dawson to anchorage. depends on how we feel.
